A trip to the Zoo

Well with the help of Nana Susan we attempted Hogle Zoo. We thought we might get rained on but we made it through before it started. It was a nice day too. Nice because it wasn't hot! Here was a wild Turkey. I guess not too wild if its chillin next to Maddie.

Say "Cheese"

The new Elephant area is neat. I guess it's not new new, but new enough.

I kept saying wait wait I want to take your picture. Can you tell they were thrilled with me?

I just love this one! I should blow it up and frame it. Our 2 cute little girls.

Here we are on the merry go round. Makes me dizzy.

Good old Gorilla's "How do you measure up?"

And on our way out, Maddie chose to paint her face like a Lion. If you look real close she has fangs. (No front teeth)

Jason's Birthday camp trip

Camping once again. Go figure huh. Alex enjoyed the ride though. We went up for our annual Jason's birthday up camping. I tried to make a big party out of it, but the rain sordof put a damper on it. We made it work and had ourself a good time. Our friends have this little dog "Sophie". Maddie dragged her everywhere. She loved it. Seems like she didn't bother her too much. Towards the end she had to keep her distance.

Here is the gang of kids that we spent our weekend with! I'll bet the campground loved us and the noise of kids. It's good though, you know they had good memories.

Here's to the best Dad ever. LOVE HIM!

Check out our set up. We knew it was going to rain. And rain it did. And rain, and rain, and rain, and rain. These cannopy's sure helped ALOT! We would just stand under them by the fire. For the most part. We had one storm come through that caused mudslides on the main road up the canyon! It came down so hard it was insane. Our cannopy's started to cave in. You should have seen us pushing the slushy, rainy, snow out of them. We were soaking wet!

What can I say. We are die hards.

Kenzie Sue

Kenzie, Kenzie, ohhhhh tooooo cute.... She loves to put her shoes on all by herself. Most the time she gets them on the right feet too.
So look real close. She is putting her shoes on......... On top of her PJ's can you see? The jammies she has on are feety jammies..... She put her shoes on top of them.

Then she was ready! She played soccer in our living room! The shoes made it all happen. She makes me smile so much. Too cute.

Our Dancer!

Saturday June 6, Maddie danced out at the Deseret Peak Days. 3 years of dance now can you believe it! She is doing so good. I love to watch her dance. She's so big!

Can you tell what she picked to have painted on her face????? A dog, yeah suprise suprise huh! The gal did a really good job.

I have no idea of the name of their dance song. It was an interesting one. She did a good job. On the 4th of July she gets to ride on a float with her dance company. Then after the parade they will dance in the park. Next week we go get her dance pictures taken too.
