Today is a snowy day. We have about 5". Last winter Kenzie was only 6 months old so that didn't really count as her first winter if you know what I mean. And this winter so far she hasn't played in the snow at all. I've looked all over for snow boots in her size for her tiny little feet, and nothing! So since Spring is 1 month away (YAY!) I figured I'd just put her shoes on her & double up the socks.
I think her first experience wasn't all that exciting for her. It lasted less than 10 minutes (nice for me though) At first she was picking up the snow & showing it to me. Her gloves are big so she couldn't move her hands very well. Then she tried to walk around and her feet sunk into the snow & being all bundled up made it hard for her.

So today Makenzie kept dragging around my bar stools. At first I couldn't figure out why. Then I realized she's copying Maddie. Once again, her big sister has shown her something fun to do. Maddie and her huts rubbed off on Kenzie! She was taking the stools to make her own. Once I realized this I helped her drape a blanket by the couch. She took all her toys in there & just enjoyed herself. TOOOOOO Cute!

Our new toy
So last Sunday Jason and I got this wild idea to try and sale our trailer. We thought we would just post an add and see what happens. The thing is our trailer was all tarped up & stored on the side of our house for winter. We have no pictures of the inside of it and we couldn't fit throught the door cuz of the tight fit between our house and fence. So cute little Maddie took my camera and squeezed through the door. She took pictures of every angle of everything in there. She did sucha good job! So then I posted the pictures on Ksl.com at about 7pm, by 9pm that night people were calling on it. We were really suprised. We didn't think people would be willing to pay what we were asking for it! They were asking to come see it the very next day. It was tarped and stored on the side of our house all winterized. It took us by suprise, we weren't ready.
So today......... we said goodbye to our trailer. And last night we unpacked it at the speed of light because it had SOLD! We had good times with that trailer.
It really took us by suprise! We talked about getting a new trailer all last summer but we didn't really think we'd go through with it. And we didn't think we'd sale it in 6 days! But from the first call we had Sunday night, Jason was on it looking for our replacement. It sure didn't take us long!
We are gona be livin it up this summer.

Maddie's hut
The Living Planet Aquarium
Friday we went to the Living Aquarium out in Sandy. It wasn't as big as we thought it would be but Maddie got a kick out of it. Kenzie, well, she was happy when she was able to just run around and play!
They had a little play area like a Coral Reef. The girls liked playing in the tunnels.

They had an area called the "Touch Pool". We were able to touch the Southern Stingrays. At first Maddie did not want to. She was scared that they would sting her.

At home
Kenzie is so stinkin cute! She loves her brother. She'll go up to him
and say "Alllleeeeeeee" since she can't pronounce the "x" yet.
She's had a long hard day with no naps! I think the teeth are causing some problems.
She's a Pro with the kisses! She even makes
her own sound affects "mmmmmmmm whaaaaaa"
